Today's tragedy!

Is there a reason this is not being mentioned on this forum? As a parent of two small kids this is a heartbreaker ,on the other side I wonder what effect this is going to have on gun laws.President said something to the effect that this needs to be dealt with regardless of politics and the Attorney General followed up with ''it may be time to re-evaluate our rights and freedoms.'' To me it's a sad and unfortunate reminder that it is a crazy world and nowhere is a safe place..If this is inappropriate feel free to delete it.
