Felony?

Post by dac1842 »

We are ate Springhill Suites and they have a sign up with Felony Notice and then it goes into the 30.06 language , and ends with punishable by up to ten years in prison and $10,000 fine. Since when is it a felony?

the felony notice is blue? says something like this

NOTICE
The unlicensed
possession of a
weapon on these
premises is a
felony with a
maximum penalty
of 10 years
imprisonment and
a fine not to
exceed $10,000

it covers anyone that does not have a chl, the 30:06 covers chls, its telling you to take your business somewhere else

if the language is intermixed neither sign is compliant and non enforceable but they still don't want your patronage

sounds like they just made some kind of catch all sign that is unenforceable but it still tells you they don't want your business, BTW did you take a pic of said sign?

If you can, could you please post a pic of the sign? I'm a little confused as to what it actually says.

It is a 51% sign in the lobby. The only bar is one open a few hours per night for the guest. It is an improper display of a 51% sign. I did not see the 51% in the sign as it is hard to see
