"But you would concede that, as good as an idea as you think this is, it may not work. Because there have been cases where armed guards have not prevented this kind of massacre, this kind of carnage. I want you would concede that point, wouldn't you?," Gregory pleaded.
There have also been cases where a fire extinguisher did not prevent a house from burning down. Does that mean we should ban fire extinguishers in kitchens?

Hypocrisy (and Animal Farm) are alive and well in the liberal mind - again.

That's different: they're kids are important, our aren't ---except to the extent they can be used to further the collectivist agenda.

Typical leftist actions.

MY kids NEED it; it WON'T help YOUR kids.

Self-declaring media elitists. That is class warfare at its ugliest.

I think, if it's to be categorized as "class warfare" - it's good to see out in the open.

Gregory's illogical hypocrisy is plainly there for all to see and immediately discredits him.

His stance and rejoinder make him sound more than a little absurd...

I think Wayne missed an opportunity. All he had to say was that "We demand the same protection for OUR children that you and the President have for YOUR children." What would have been David Gregory's response, I wonder? If Wayne did not know then, then he should know now, and begin that mantra in future interviews. It's hard to argue with.

They have GUNS in a Quaker school, aren't these the most pacifist of the Christian denominations. Ironic I'm sure there are some of those awful truely AUTOMATIC weapons on the property. Oh wait we have to make exceptions for the IMPORTANT and POWERFUL. Once again the truth comes out the guns are not evil it is just about who has the power and or the wealth.

The rest of us can just go pound sand and pray for our own kids and grandkids safety. I think not, while I am not destitute by any means, I can not afford to seek out someone to pay to risk their own life to protect my family. I can and will defend them to my own death if necessary. I guess that comes from my own family history which proves that even when supposedly under the protection of the U.S government you can need the equipment to defend yourself and your family.

Needless to say our family has been very self reliant in that regard for over 150 years, My great-granddads nickle plated .32 S&W pistol that he carried in his pocket every day up untill his death in the 1950's sits on the top shelf of the gun cabinet in the bedroom down at dad's old house (as well as granddaddy's old .22 lr rifle I first shot a squirrel with) as a reminder that we are responsible for ourselves and our safety. It has a worn nickle finish and a mising sideplate but the action still works and it's message still rings loud and clear. When evil comes protect yourself and what is yours, no one else can or will as well or with conviction.

AndyC,

"NBC apparently decided to go ahead anyway ("Pfffft - laws are only for little people, right?"), and MPD is now investigating following a number of complaints..."

Do you know any of the details of the above?

Also, I would hope (yeah, that & $5.00'll get me a cup of coffee) that every time a hypocrite like Gregory, Rosy O', the Demander In Chief, etal, pontificate about evil guns, the media (c'mon Fox, if no other...) would spend the same amount of time exposing the hypocrisy.

Hey, I can dream can't I...?

Gregory will NOT be meeting the press this Sunday.

Why would you schedule vacations when your kids are in well-guarded schools?
