There are 11,493 firearm murders every year in America.
reference:CDC
There are 10,228 impaired driving deaths every year in America.
reference:CDC
To put an end to impaired driving deaths once and for all we should 1) reduce the capacity of vehicles to 2 persons, 2) eliminate all cars capable of going over 20 mph and 3) require all drivers to pass a blood/alcohol exam before entering a vehicle. No one NEEDS a large capacity car, a high speed car or the freedom to drive without testing.
Arresting the alcoholics and denying them access to vehicles is cruel and unusual punishment and should not be pursued.
There are 599,413 heart disease related deaths every year in America.
reference:CDC
To put an end to heart disease once and for all we should 1) force all manufacturers to remove heart disease related risks from their products; fat from foods, weight from objects, airborne impurities from aerosols, 2) require every building to immediately stop the use of elevators so entrants can get more exercise and 3) eliminate the use of cars as a form of transportation and issue bicycles to every able adult. No one NEEDS to eat fat rich foods, lift heavy objects or breathe. No one NEEDS to use an elevator or use a car.
Educating people about the dangers of risky behaviors is discriminatory and should not be pursued.
Thus endeth the logic for the day.
