The ironic part of this is that Putnam County leadership is now refusing to cooperate with the paper in publishing the names of gun owners there.

The lead story on Fox new at 12PM was the press conference with the county officials of Putnam County, NY refusing to release records of pistol permit holders. They were met with applause, and apparently are quite willing to see this through in court, no matter what. I sincerely hope they don't retreat. Their statements were a breath of fresh air with all that is going on now. I also find it ironic that it is a NY county that is standing tall. Oh, and the county clerk who is refusing to release the list is to be interviewed live on Megan Kelly's 12-2PM news show now.

A picture of the supposed publisher of that paper
showed up on my facebook page with name address
and phone number. I did not bother to verify. Waste of time, since I
have no intention of using it for anything but if true maybe they
are beginning to have a smidgen of empathy.
