Interesting twist ... what kind of bone would they try to throw to Wal-mart and Academy?

This is encouraging.
Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, an NRA member, said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopolous" that the reported proposals were "way in extreme" and would not pass.

How about "don't sell that stuff or else we'll throw the IRS, ICE, FBI, EPA, etc. at you and we'll find something to shut you down."
