Polls - support/oppose

Post by A-R »

Got this in my FB feed and thought I'd share here, rather than with the many liberal and undecided folks in my FB stream
Second Amendment Foundation shared Firearms Policy Coalition's photo.

‎**WARNING**

OPPOSE THIS PETITION: https://www.popvox.com/bills/us/113/x101" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; !!! It's being run by New York City Mayor Bloomberg's anti-gun extremists group Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Instead, please SUPPORT OUR PRO-GUN RIGHTS PETITION at https://www.popvox.com/bills/us/113/x104" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. ACT NOW and SHARE THIS ASAP!

Popvox is an interesting little tool. For anyone curious about whether or not it works, I got emails in response to popvox letters I sent less than a week ago.

It's an easy way to let your legislators know your stance on specific bills. Worth checking out if you haven't yet. :tiphat:

I get a kick out of the way the "email" went out: "Dear Representative:

I oppose Common Sense Legislation to End Gun Violence."

ROFL!

I just told them the reason I was against "common sense legislation" was I had yet to see any sense common or otherwise out of Mayor Bloomie!

Well, I tried to tell them...
I oppose Common Sense Legislation to End Gun Violence because...

Ask Bloomberg how his "common sense" gun laws in NYC is working out for him. Or the "common sense" laws in either Chicago or DC. Pretty much proves that "common sense" laws only impact the law-abiding gun owner, creating a haven for criminal gun abuse. No thanks!
However it doesn't seem to want to accept my email address or something. Push the button and nothing happens. :-(
