Jones Hall Houston

Post by Wodathunkit »

My family has tickets to see Stomp today. Is this a 30.06 facility? I looked on Texas 30.06 and the Alley Theater next door is listed it no reference to Jones hall. Per its website Jones hall is owned by the city of Houston and is operated by Houston First Corporation.

Any help would be appreciated. If going to Htown I would rather NOT follow Johnny Cash's advice

Good question, so I called the Security Desk. Concealed Carry by CHL holders is NOT prohibited in Jones Hall. The person who originally answered the phone was unable to answer the question and placed the phone down on the desk while consulting with higher. The squeeks, squeels, and "You have Got To Be Kidding Me!" that was the audible side of the conversation was truly a hoot. That said, the attendant/SO was composed upon returning to me and quite professional when passing along the info.

Hope you enjoy the show. We have tickets for tomorrow afternoon. We saw it about 15 years and were truly impressed. Can't wait to see it again. Let us know how the carry expereince goes and what I might look for tomorrow.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! And were able to do so while exercising your 2A rights.
