I'm sitting in Teterboro, NJ again just thinking... Should I feel sorry for all these people that cannot carry or do they deserve it since they put them in office.

New Jersey is much the same as IL. The power and corruption are primarily centered in one area. In the area where you are, political control reaches all parts of the State but much of the area below Trenton, minus Camden, has little in common with Patterson, Newark and the surrounding areas. When I lived in PA, there as a lot of talk about Southern Jersey seceding and letting the Northern half have all of its corruption. OK Atlantic City isn't so pure either but it is no where near in the same category as Newark.

Many of the people in Northern Jersey are displaced NYers. They share sentiments with Mayor Bloomberg. There are some great hunters in the area around the Delaware Water Gap that are pro gun but you won't find that sentiment in Ringwood or Saddlebrook

You can feel sorry for all of the people in Southern Jersey. The rest of them earned and deserve pretty much what they have.

And this is why I left and came back to Texas. I still have my FOID card (Firearms Owner ID). Yep, they not only register the guns, they register the people that own them as well. To get a FOID card, you have to have the signature of your local police chief. Acquiring handguns after you receive your FOID is a whole 'nuther ballgame.

Gotta say the country was beautiful out in west Morris county... but that's all I miss.
