After watching the warning triangles change from yellow to a green to go traffic signal.
It came down to the wire
1. Manufacturing Pending ----- what this is that they are reviewing all information.
2. Manufacturing ------------- is finally the results and your CHL has been approved and is being made.
3. Mailed ---------------------- its in the mail.
I was confused as to 1. and 2. and wanted to clarify that after assuming I was clear at Manufacturing Pending which is not the case.
TOTAL BUSINESS DAYS : 33 to Receive License.
Thank You Texas Department of Public Safety CHL. Licensing Division I left nothing out, checked my State Wide Finger Prints, checked my FBI File, Followed up on all required documents and then more.
Now I am in the process of reviewing CHL Insurance Providers for protection especially in Civil Suits since other states DO NOT PROTECT from civil suits the use of a firearm for protecting ones family, even though they are Reciprocal States. I don't want some who attacks my family while in Travel in another State besides the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS and try's to sue me. Looks like NRA may be the choice since they have Full Coverage, and its a bit more but for peace of mind for my Family its worth it.
