How NOT to appear before a judge

Post by Keith B »

It must have been the medication. :smilelol5: :smash:
After a Miami judge doubled 18-year-old Penelope Soto’s bond from $5,000 to $10,000, the teen seemed more than a little bit surprised.

“Are you serious?!” she exclaimed. The judge quickly responded, “I am serious. Adiós.”

That’s when Soto, as she exited the court room, cursed at the judge and flashed him her middle finger. He called her back to verify what she had just said.

Wow!

on a side note that judge looked like the Santa from The Mirical on 34th Street.

I saw that video earlier. Seemed like his actions were appropriate to get her attention to the fact that she was in trouble since she wasn't taking it very seriously. I have zero issues with that judge's actions. Its not a game and hopefully she will know that now.

Judging by the accents I didn't think it was in the US.

Oh, now I see it wasn't. It was in Miami.

Finally, a judge that has it right.
