Lost toutch with NRA

Post by tommyg »

For years I have getting daily e mail alerts from the NRA. Now they have stopped I sent
several e mails to the NRA to restart them. Thisis the second time this has happened
the first time I sent the NRA an e mail and the alerts started back. Now No answer
and no alerts has anyone had a similar issue

Same here. My last alert from NRA-ILA was 8/31/2012. I signed up again recently in case that was the problem, but still haven't gotten anything.

Presumably, I'm getting the content in my TSRA emails.

My last:
NRA-ILA Alert 8/31
NRA-PVF Alert 7/30
NRA-ILA Grassroots Alert 8/11
NRA-ILA Legal 6/26
NRA Store 12/17

But I still receive TSRA bulletins, which contain much of the NRA content.

You will probably be hard pressed to get email feedback very quick, they are incredibly busy. You can sign up for yourself on their website here - https://www.nraila.org/get-involved-loc ... ormed.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This situation was brought up in December, when I posted my reply above. Since I had always gotten the alerts, I found it odd that they had stopped.

So I went to the link you posted and signed up again. Many weeks later, still receiving nothing except TSRA.

Be sure to add admin@nramedia.org and nra_ila@nramedia.org to your safe senders list to make sure you get them

They're not being blocked! They're not being sent!

On Friday, I got "NRA-ILA Opposes Universal Background Checks", but it came from TSRA.

I joined the NRA last week and hadn't received my membership email. So I gave them a call and spoke to a lovely young lady named Rebecca. She confirmed that that email should have been sent out immediately upon joining and that her system showed it had been. Then she had it resent and gave me my member number over the phone. 5 minutes later, while still talking to her, I received the email.

It may just be a backlog on their email servers. That can happen sometimes when you add more traffic (such as emails to 250,000 new members) and your servers aren't robust enough to handle the additional traffic. I don't know the NRA's email server setup, so I'm just saying that this is a possible cause. I'd give customer service a call and see if they can help.

I've emailed them 3 times in the last couple months. I joined way back in November and have yet to receive my "free gift" for joining. Its just a stupid little range bag but it feels like getting cheated. They want me to support them when they can't even hold promises to their members? I guess I"ll have to use one of my lunch breaks to call them some time and find out what the deal is.

I sent a donation to NRA-ILA by snail mail along with a note to restart my e mail alerts maybe it will get their attention
They are in DEEP trouble over all the anti-gun rampage that is going on...They need all the help that they
can get now more than ever. Please don't abandon the NRA over petty issues like a range bag or a pair of sun glasses :patriot:

Absolutely correct.

I upgraded my NRA membership to Patron, and donate monthly to NRA-ILA.
