Multiple people paperwork

Post by cuchulain »

Wife sent both of our applications and paperwork in one envelope. Each application was paper clipped separately. The paperwork was received on the 29th according to the receipt. Will this slow our application time down?

Did you put your barcode # at the top of each page? If so, then there shouldn't be an issue. If not, then if the paperwork gets separated (someone drops a load of papers which subsequently gets scattered) then you could potentially have a problem. In any case, not much you can do about it at this point.

The_Busy_Mom and I submitted both of our applications at the same time, however it was done through the online submission. I received my first online update on January 28th and she has none. According to DPS, they have not entered her paperwork in to the system yet. I think a lot has to do with who gets your paperwork and how "fast" they are at processing the applications.

here's her status: ALL Docs Submitted online 01-12-13 / Documents Processing 01-18-13 / Still Processing - No Change 02-07-13

Mine is in my signature below.
