So do we want our police officers training to enter, identify a threat, and shoot children in the backyard threatening others with a weapon?
If that is the best choice to protect other innocents, Yes, without hesitation.

Do we want police officers entering a kitchen and identifying a threat of a woman cooking breakfast armed with a gun threatening the child in her arms and the man laying on the ground bleeding from a head wound?
If that is the best choice to protect other innocents, Yes, without hesitation.

Again as has been stated several times now, criminals come in all shapes and sizes, yes, even rich, white mothers cooking in a upscale housing area kitchen. Even privileged children, in a upscale gated community, that kill the babysitter, daughter next door or parents. To ignore this truth and bass an argument on the lack of these real events is, simply not an honest discussion point.

Some will believe any who will write a negative piece for profit and ratings. With little consideration for plausible realities of what the agencies involved do.
Some use judgment based on reality and real life experience to make observations and judgments about what they read coming to vastly different conclusions.

Only History will prove either right.

Uh-huh.....is it within the realm of possibility that children on a playground could be a threat to others, sure.....is it within the possibility that a woman cooking breakfast could be a threat to others....sure......It is also a possibility that I could be struck by lightening while sitting at my computer right now, but I am not hiding under my desk.

Look at the pictures, look at the backgrounds. These people are not out of place. They are not holding a gun to a child's head. They are not standing in a window trying to snipe at police. They look like they are in their domiciles. If we are shooting people who look like that without any other information available, that is not ok.

What I do see out of place is police shooting up trucks of people because they are scared of one person in a whole city. What I do see out of place is a man gunned down in Costco because he was given contradictory commands and someone's nerves jumped and "they shot without hesitation." I see a police officer threatening a CHL holder with death after not permitting him to tell him he had a CHL. I see lots of that out of place and in an environment where government brutality is either becoming more and more visible or more and more prevalent (I don't know which one) pictures like these are not ok.
