Wrong Type Of Wally Walk

Post by carlson1 »

A couple steals several firearms from Wal Mart on Hwy 64E in Tyler. Wal Mart has temporary pulled all firearms off the floor during overnight hours.

It does not say anything about store employees noticing them stealing the firearms. :headscratch

Talk about easy, the got away with $5000.00 worth of stuff and no resistance
Some parents say it is toy guns that make boys warlike. But give a boy a rubber duck and he will seize its neck like the butt of a pistol and shout "Bang!"......George Will

I wonder if they were good enough not to leave the shopping cart in the parking lot where it can get hit, I HATE THAT

Sounds like an inside job. If they had the cases locked as they were supposed to, then they should have been alarmed. Thinking there was another accomplice in the store.

Having worked in a Wal-Mart sporting goods department, the gun cases were never alarmed. You'd think that would make sense, when the camera display in the electronics department has one. They didn't even try to install something to make it look like there was an alarm.

It's hard to find a Wal-Mart store employee during normal working hours, I'll bet they're real scarce at 1-2:00 AM?

BTW, my very limited early hour shopping with various Wal-Marts around the country always led to the only (one) entrance that was open ???? IOW, EVERYONE came and went though that one door.

I am on my phone so I do not have the URL, but I received a text that the firearms were recovered and warrants have been issued.

I have been in Walmart during the wee ours most of the employees are busy stocking shelves.
This makes it a vulnerable time since the employees are paying more attention to restocking than security

Same here. I could have loaded a cart full of goodies and walked right out the door. They just aren't paying attention at night.
