GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -
A man was shot in the leg as he ran away from a carjacker early Wednesday morning.

The victim had just pulled into his parking spot at his apartment complex in the 700 block of Timber Oaks lane. It was about 12:40 a.m. when an armed man came up to him and demanded the keys to his black Mercedes. The car owner was pistol whipped before he managed to get away with his keys still on him.
Be without fear in the face of your enemies.
Stand brave and upright that the Lord may love thee.
Speak the truth always even if it means your death.
Protect the helpless and do no wrong!

This is one of the reasons I could never do the whole apartment complex thing.
Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.

Lived in one when I was a young man. Wouldn't want to do it again. Suburbs are bad enough.
