You can go here http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/chl/re ... aphics.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and find info. They only post year by year issues, renewed, revoked, etc so you may have to go over the past 5 years to get an idea of how many are active in Harris county or in a particular zip code.

Quick observation, over the last year, Harris county has 15% of CHL population in Texas.
Assuming the ratio holds for the last 10 yrs, you would expect the Harris county has some .15x500,000 or some 75,000 CHLers.

I'd like to edit this graphic to include the rough number of people in Houston actually issued a CHL, rather than just 'CHLs *can* be issued'.

You should include, number of Active police force in both cities and the how those 75,000 CHLer are ace in the pocket. I bet you that CHLers:LEOs are like 10:1 and those who carry daily would be 2-4X more than LEOs.
