KY: Two charged in accidental shooting death of friend

Post by seamusTX »

In Louisville, Kentucky, Saturday, a 22-year-old white man allegedly shot a friend in the chest while trying to clear a jammed firearm.

The alleged shooter and his 18-year-old girlfriend dropped the victim off at the hospital, where he died.

Police allege that the shooter tried to conceal or destroy evidence before taking the victim to the hospital, thus delaying treatment.

The alleged shooter reportedly was on probation and not allowed to possess a firearm.

The alleged shooter was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He and the girlfriend were both charged with offenses related to tampering with evidence. She was also charged with trying to induce the police not to arrest her.

I think we can use our imagination, but the details aren't suitable for discussion in this forum.
