Not an April's fools joke and not a troll. I'm waiting for my CHL like many others on the board.
Just trying to help. I'm just repeating some of the comments I heard on the con call this morning. They are not my opinions.
Interesting. Why would their feathers be so ruffled over law abiding people exercising their rights inconspicuously when they've got the "People of WalMart" doing far more damage to WalMart's image?

I work for a major, and I do mean major, retailer. We have been contacted by different news agencies concerning the term 'Wally Walk' and our condoning this term. We had a meeting very early this morning regarding it and I can say that policies will probably change if this story goes to the national media. And by policies I mean 30.06 signs. If we do that other major retailers will be right behind.
So please stop using this term in general or as a 'right of passage' for getting a CHL.
Man all this talk about "Wally Walking" makes me wanna go check if they have any ammo....I prefer Target anyday of the week and since Walmart doesn't have any ammo latly there is really no reason to go. I wonder if I ask a Walmart employee if they know what a "Wally Walk" is if they would have any idea?
Doing another Wally Walk right now just because I can.

Y'all stop picking on Jaybeau. He was just trying to help. Thank you, Jaybeau, for caring. Problem is the term has become so common among CHL holders there is little possibility it can be discouraged even were Walmart to post their stores in states where that is applicable.
And, as you see from the responses here, Walmart would be alienating a lot of customers. Customers who would be ticked off enough to simply not shop there anymore and go straight to their competitors. Permanently. Perhaps those who are concerned just do not have a clue how many customers. I would be one. I simply do not patronize any business that is posted with the exception of medical facilites. I spend my money elsewhere.

I wonder if any of this attitude is being whispered in their ear by the obamanation's propaganda ministers to slander folks that carry guns in trying to turn WalMart against us.

I won't darken the door of a Walmart, so I did my Wally Walk at Starbucks. I only called it a Wally Walk because "Starbucksy Walk" just does not have the same ring to it.
