Any idea on how to remedy this?

My instructor made a copy to keep on file. I would assume this is standard practice. Call and see if you can get another copy.

I issue all of my students 2 copies - one to submit, and one for their personal records. I have also issued replacements for when 2 copies don't seem to be quite enough.
