The prices are are rediculous online! Sellier&Bellot .9mm 115gr fmj at $0.80/round. I'll keep waiting in line at Academy and Walmart. No mark-ups there.

P.S., get the Walmart app. It shows you what ammo they have in stock at the stores closest to you. If the app says "in stock" in the afternoon, it is probably what is on the truck that's arrived that day and will not be unloaded until after midnight by the night stockers. Show up early the next morning (nlt 7am) and you should be able to get 3 boxes of whatever you need. I've amassed over 1000 rounds of .9mm (Federal 115gr fmj) that way in the last 6 weeks.

I just picked up 100 rounds of PMC .223 from Cabelas for $58 including tax and delivery. Fine for plinking. Is $0.58/round of "range" .223 great? No. But finding 100 rounds to go shooting, not break the bank, not have to stand in line like a bum at a soup kitchen..... I can handle the extra $10 I just paid.

Even though GunBot listed it as "out of stock", I clicked the link and placed the order for the 5-box limit. Showed as "In Stock" on the Cabela's web site. Easy as that.

ETA: Well.. I guess the laugh is on me... Still, I'm happy to not be standing in line for a maybe.

You can set a trigger on gunbot.net that goes off any time the price of the ammo you're looking for drops down to an acceptable level. You can even setup an alarm (I use a klaxon that goes whoop, whoop, whoop!). Then you go to the page, click on the link and order. I got 500 rounds of .223 hollow points that way for .43 shipped.
