Ok just wondering who all sent in there paperwork in the Month of March 2013. (I see the ones for Jan and Feb but not showing a thread for March.)
It is four weeks today that mine was mailed. No change on the website yet. And yes I know it is a while before they do. Just would like to keep up with the ones in March to compare with. Thanks ahead of time.

Posted mine on the February post by accident. So I will now put mine in the right place! 
I was told by my CHL instructor I would have my permit in 2 months! After reading everything on here--I'm not so sure!
3/2 CHL class/range test passed
3/2 Applied online
3/14 Fingerprints
3/15 Packet mailed
4/7 Application processed online awaiting receipt of required materials. Been this way for past 3 weeks!
Being very patient!!!

I mailed all my documents regular mail on March 4. Today make 37 days since it left my mailbox.

The DPS received my packet on 3/19. I'm pretty much trying to not think about it anymore until I get my plastic. It's hard, but I only allow myself to check the status on Monday evenings now.

Sent my packet off on 3/13. Website has not changed. It's hard not to check it everyday!!!

Me and wife both did everything on the same dates so our status is the same:
3/8-9 CHL class
3/10 Online application
3/14 Fingerprints and photos
3/18 physically dropped all required materials in the DPS drop box (Denson drive Austin)
4/23 Awaiting receipt of required materials
Typical government bureaucracy. They take your money in no time then it takes them 36 days and counting to walk from their desk to the dropbox to enter you in the system. Inefficiency at it's finest.

Just a big word of advice, anyone that mailed their documents March 1 or later will not show a status change yet. They still just entering apps from Feb still. Instead of driving yourself crazy, mark your calendar for like 3 weeks out then check again. Of course I know there are those that enjoy checking anyway not sure why. Just trying to help.
