Gun control would have made bombing harder to pull off

Post by JJVP »

Editor of The New Yorker and former Washington Post reporter David Remnick suggested Monday night that the Senate gun control legislation would have made the Boston Marathon bombing “a hell of a lot more difficult to pull off.”
Author is a product of the failure of our education institutions to teach critical thinking. :banghead:

Or perhaps the futility of our educational system casting its pearls before swine, so to speak, of course.

There is a lot more teaching than there is learning. The ratio is rather dismal.

The Washington Times reported Tuesday that neither Tamerlan nor Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had valid permits to own firearms and neither of the brothers had obtained the handguns legally, according to authorities
Okay.....so, how exactly would any of the proposals have stopped them from illegally obtaining illegal weapons from an illegal market? :???: :???: :headscratch :headscratch :confused5

The latest is that the explosives may have been made from fireworks as apparently they bought a lot of fireworks. Banned where I live in Texas. Apparently banned where they live too. So, if you are going to build bombs and kill people who cares about the law.

Great now the libs will try and use this to further gun control? They sure are not giving up. I know a liberal friend is now posting stuff on FB how people on the terrorist watch list can buy guns. When was the last time a terrorist legally bought a gun?

Oh, in that case someone ought to make it illegal to kill people!

But we would have to build new prisons for all the politicians.
