Hope it's better than their iphone app. When the app says they are low they tend to be out. You would think that WalMart computer system would be quick enough to do inventory but I guess not. The app also show a WM in Alabama that's supposed to be 7 miles from my house ( North Texas) and they also seem to have eveything. I may need to drive to Alabama to stock up. If they don't know what state their store is in they have a problem.

Very nice. I went to WM tonight for the first time in a while. The ammo shelves were bare. There were however, 3 Russians who were very excited about buying a Daisy pellet gun....

I've found the app to be pretty good. I scored three 100 round boxes of Federal .223 while in San Antonio this past weekend using the app.

Gave it a try tonight after work - drove to two stores that I don't normally patronize (because they're on the other end of the county for me)... Both stores supposedly Green (in stock) and both stores had as empty shelves as my local store. Almost 50 miles, and it doesn't report correctly (but was reportedly updated just before my searches).

YMMV!

I hate it when that happens.

I wonder if items are scanned into inventory in the back and the reason it is sometimes shown as in stock but the shelves are bare is cuz the haven't brought them out yet.

That is sometimes the case, but on the website, there is also a date for the status. Some of the one's that say they are in stock are 12 hours to 2 days old. Anything more than a few hours is going to be currently inaccurate.
