AC Appliance Pros (my wife says they've changed their name to AC Pros.) We've been using them for years. Very trustworthy and reliable. Good pricing. Knowledgeable people.

They were the only ones who could explain why our kitchen was always hot (insufficient cold air return), and they replaced our system when it went out with one that is extremely efficient. We pay them an annual fee to routinely service our system and have been doing so for years. Zero complaints.

I had them replace a capacitor that went out last summer. They were fast and professional but also were more expensive than anyone else. Replacing a capacitor cost me $300 and took the tech 15 minutes to do. Other companies I've talked to since have quoted slightly lower prices for a simple capacitor swap out. But I can't speak to their professionalism or speed. At least with 03LightningRocks company you've got some peace of mind and someone to turn too if things go badly.

I found this out the hard way. I found the part that was replaced and found that it was only $20. I will likely order one just to have on hand for next time. The removal and re-wireing looked really simple, especially if you diagram properly beforehand. The AC had gone out at 10pm, so the next morning while I was waiting for the repairman to come I removed the cover and found the bulging capacitor and by that time they were already here and if I sent him away I'd be stuck with the service call so I let him do his thing only to be shocked by the $300 pricetag.
