Taking a little different approach. I'm asking that he call a special session and push for all CHL holders to have the same ability to carry afforded to our elected officials.
Given the relaxed rules of a special session I believe there's a good chance it could pass.

Just sent a message to the Governor, asking him to not allow the Legislature to afford themselves any special privileges not available to all citizens of Texas; also, asked him to press the issue to allow Texas CHL holders the same carry privileges as off-duty peace officers.
