Anyone here mounted one on an AR ?
If yes, what model and how do you like it?
Thanks!

I put one on an air rifle - eye relief was not good.

I wouldn't waste my time with either.

Both the mounts and the scopes are spoken highly of in the air gun world where recoil shock is real - coming and going. I'll probably order one of each after my Diana 34 arrives this weekend.

I have a UTG scope on my air rifle, but would not put a UTG scope on a real gun.

Re: UTG/Leapers Scopes
Betcha they wouldn't hold up very long to a .308 or better bolt rifle. But it isn't just the recoil impulse. It's the quality of the glass. It's the accuracy of the adjustment clicks on the windage and elevation knobs. It's "will it 'shoot the box?" with repeatability. It's "will it hold its zero under extremes of temperature and humidity?" It's, when you drop your rifle and it lands scope side down on some rocks, will it hold together and still work, and still be zeroed? And will an air rifle be called on to dump 30 quick rounds the way an AR15 might have to do? Scopes are like anything else.....you get what you pay for, and you do overpay by a smallish percentage for known quality name brand; but there is no way that a $50 Leapers scope is in the same quality range as even a $200 Burris, let alone a $800 Leupold, and $200 isn't that much for a decent scope. Leapers scopes are cheap because they are...well...cheap. They're probably fine for a .22 LR or an airgun, but I wouldn't depend on one for any gun on which I might need to stake my life, either for defense or food.Oldgringo wrote:Both the mounts and the scopes are spoken highly of in the air gun world where recoil shock is real - coming and going.
