This was a very messy love triangle involving a former boyfriend/baby daddy, the new boyfriend,
and the woman who was the pivot person in the relationships.
Although their personal relationships were quite dysfunctional, from what I read of the ex-boyfriend's
actions and threats, plus Vermont law regarding use of deadly force, this seems like a justifiable homicide.
The dead attacker's home in Hudson Falls, NY is 40 miles from his ex-girlfriend's home in Danby, VT.

Sigh...once again dysfunctional adults having problems with kids nearby to see the whole thing and be in danger as well.
