Finally..after a year of working weekends I start vacation today :cheers2:

To start it off I am visiting Tecate, MX... well not actually going there like we used to when we were in CA, but pugging on some cold Tecate!

On the agenda:

tubing
range time
riding my mc
fishing in my yak
BBQ
cerveza

Sounds like a great time.

The wife is still planning ours. She has it narrowed down to Cape Cod, Florida, Banson, Utah--Colorado--Wyoming, or somewhere on the left coast. Told her last night that she better narrow it down soon or we would be staying home and relaxing (my choice but what can I say).

The wife planned our vacay for this year...Norway for 6 days/5 nights at the end of July. Haven't been anywhere OCONUS since honeymoon in Puerto Rico in '09, so we're going big this year.

I wish that I could say that. I wish that I had a job all of the time. I had no idea how lucky I was when I did.

1. The workload triples in retirement
2. I no longer get paid to do any of it
3. There is no such thing as a vacation

I have a friend who wants me to wear a helmut cam. He claims that the pace of my days would keep him entertained

The saddest part is that my current boss is a crabby old fat guy. :biggrinjester:
