Obamacare employer mandate delayed until 2015 to give Democrats breathing room until after 2014 midterm elections, says Treasury source

A Treasury Department official who declined to be named confirmed to MailOnline on Tuesday that the Obama administration will not begin enforcing employer mandates in the Obamacare law until 2015 - one year later than originally planned - and pinned that change of direction on a combination of politics and economic realities in the marketplace.

——{SNIP}——

The revised timetable, the source added, will also push back the final implementation of Obamacare's penalties past the 2014 midterm elections, providing Republicans fewer chances to highlight the law's potentially harmful effects on businesses' bottom lines.

——{SNJP}——

'Obamacare is a flawed law,' Republican National Committee Deputy Press Secretary Raffi Williams told MailOnline. 'It has been from day one and continues to be one now.'

'This latest announcement is just another sign that the president and his administration are afraid of the havoc that this imperfect law will wreak on everyday Americans.'
The illegitimate children of the democrat party passed a bad bill.....they KNOW it's a bad bill.....and they KNOW it will cost them control of Congress if it gets implemented on schedule before the election. So, they are ducking the responsibility for the monster they knowingly created, in the hope that the minuscule attention span of the average democrat will forget that their own people screwed them. God how I hate them. If a democrat told me the sky was blue, I'd stick my head out the window and check.

Cool, hopefully after the 2014 elections, the Senate AND House will be able to repeal it.

It ought to make all those that are looking forward to the hand out a little upset that their handout has been delayed. Maybe this will work out for the good.

I think they're hoping the economic collapse stays until after they take a run at the house.

That's an insult to murderers, rapists and child molesters.

At this time, it is the law...how can he just say, "just disregard it"? He has no power to do so. The House should just hold his feet to the fire on this one...

The goobermint ignores laws all of the time. Why should this be any different?

Laws have nothing to do with with preventing crime or preventing behavior. Laws are solely about creating a new class of criminals. Enforcing laws is all about increasing the power of the elite class and subjugating citizens.

The system is out of control.

The problem with their logic is that voters aren't paying a one time bill for Obamacare. Two years on, in 2016, they'll still be paying for it and paying more than they did in 2014, while working fewer hours and/or getting smaller paychecks, or being unemployed. Seems like taking their medicine now would be less painful than a larger dose in 2016.

Exactly. They are the most conniving and dishonest bunch of pukes ever elected.
