Got my plastic in hand a little over 2 years ago now, thought i'd drop into the waiting room and reassure you guys who are chomping at the bit that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I've now been carrying pretty much 24/7 since i received my license and, looking back, the delay from filing packet to receiving plastic seems like just a blip in time now.
in the time i've been carrying i've had to place my hand on my weapon and deliver a stern warning only once (did not draw, but the jackwagon understood that a boundary was about to be passed) and i've been on a quest of sorts for the perfect carry firearm. i've been very active on the sale board here, buying/trading/selling ALL sorts of firearms in an attempt to handle and carry as many as i possibly can - to share knowledge and gain experience.
i've also learned to make my own 'crossbreed' style hybrid holsters and have helped quite a few people get theirs completed and correct.
anyways, just wanted to tell all those who are being patient to keep your chin up - it'll be here sooner than you think.
It's now been over 2 years...

I think technically time should run slower when you start carrying because there's less gravitational potential between yourself and the mass of the gun. ;)

You can have an attitude
or you can carry a gun
but you can't do both
