Drunk tried to drive through my in-laws house.

Similar situation happened outside my daughters house a month or so back. A girl was drunker than Cooty Brown and hit her neighbors tree. The tree stopped the vehicle before it went through their living room but it could have been bad. There were three in the car, counting the girl driving. They all jumped out of the car and started running away. By this time my SIL was outside to see what the noise was. The driver stopped running after about fifty feet and walked back to the car crying.

Here is the funny part. My SIL was standing right there and heard every word of this. The Allen police officer asked the girl what she was thinking to run off like that. She replied in front of several witnesses, "I wouldn't have come back but I realized it was my car".... I don't think she was picking up on what the officer was asking her. Needless to say, she received some really cool bracelets and a free ride. My SIL said she was so drunk she could barely stand!
