The female reporter buys an AK-47 (which she refers to as an "ACK"), and a .50 Cal.

Didn't read the whole propagandistic lying screed, but enjoyed the comments, which seemed to be about 95% anti-ABC. Seeing comments like these following propaganda like this makes it absolutely clear that the media is fully aware of the facts and is deliberately lying. As one commenter said, it's about time for some media accountability, perhaps a large fine for the media source and jail time for a reporter who lies.

Sigh...read the article. Nothing new. They made private purchases of semi-auto rifles from individuals.

Illegally, if Lauren Effron does not live in Arizona.

Let's see... Reporter Van Zeller, born in Portugal, current citizenship and place of residence unknown, buys an AK-47 FTF in Arizona and all is fine with ABC's Nightline and the feds. Move along folks... no crime committed here.

Oops, I thought Lauren Effron was the "reporter". Her name was on the byline. I stand corrected. :cheers2:

Well. I did a little more digging and found out that Van Zeller is based out of LA. For some reason, I was thinking the first time through that she was living in Arizona and therefore did not present a problem to buy a firearm without an FFL intermediary....

She asked several Gun Shops to buy multiple AK's at one time (14 at one place) and the stupid Gun Shop Employee at that Shop didn't even know the current law of Multiple Sales in Border States. The counter guy had to check with the Boss....... :banghead:
