First carry was a walk in the park

Post by anomie »

Literally.

My neighborhood (and the neighborhoods around mine) has as private park for resident use only, with a swimming pool and some tennis courts and the like. There's also a small county Sheriff's office in there. It's got a walking trail, too. The local high school sometimes uses the park for band practice, and the pool for swim team practice, so I'll not go in any of the buildings while that kind of thing is going on (premises, I don't know if they count as being 'sporting or interscholastic events', but the only time I've really had any reason to go into any of the buildings was to vote, and that would be prohibited, too, so I doubt it would ever actually come up and I might as well practically just treat it as 'don't carry in there').

Since my CHL came in last night, I took a quick loop around the walking trail today, as the first venture off my own property while carrying. It was pretty hot but was a nice walk anyway.

Have some plans to take the family out to go do some fun stuff, ending with a nice dinner out tonight. That should be good, too.
