Chasfm11 I think you are onto something. I have been chased twice in my adult life. I was mildly attacked once (was picked up and thrown in a mall when I was 6 months pregnant with my first child--not injured, but certainly scared). I was lucky to get away. Each time I had not gone looking for trouble but was simply in a majority black place at the time. Each time I was attacked it was by young black men. So if I see a pack of young black men I go the other way....if I see a single young black man I watch carefully. If I see a family of people with dark skin I smile at them and the children.

We are made of our experiences. We are shaped by them. If I had been attacked several times by Asian women with long hair I am sure I would be wary around them. Incidently the security guard who was close by did not help me as I was thrown into a hallmark display and did not help me pick up the items that were knocked over. He laughed at my distress. So I place no confidnce of help in mall security either.

I lock the doors on my car wherever I am. I keep my purse in the bottom of the stroller...so I have my hands free if I need them to be. My kids can't run like I can, if someone throws my eight year old or six year old into a display that could be lethal.......so I am prepared to defend them if I must. I pray that day never comes. I am very careful where I go and try to be aware of my surroundings more. If there is suddenly a shift in crowds in a mall and I my pixel senses are going off I bug out quick.

I've been scrutinized by women in parking lots and elevators, because at first glance I'm just some tall dude. If I was scruffier looking (by dress or unshaven) or if I was youthful looking (which I no longer am) I expect I would scrutinized more. Why? Because scruffiness and youth are two criteria that my brain uses to evaluate your danger profile in my brain. (I guess I need to watch out for well dressed muggers.)

I have noticed this scrutinizing behavior by women over the years, and now am conditioned out of politeness to go out of my way act non-threatening in my bearing or in my proximity (e.g., if I'm walking behind them in the parking lot, I'll angle away from them or move around them so be obvious about not following them).

Obama had a fairly privileged life as a youth, and has had even more privilege handed to him as an adult. I see no record of any achievement based on personal merit. His comments really don't pass muster, since he actually lived the life of a privileged white youth. However, white Liberals like the concept of having a black, articulate man in the White House, so their machine has successfully gotten him elected. Twice. Live with it people. The electoral process at this point leaves you no other choice, and you had better get ready for more, like a HIllary-Michelle ticket.

On the question of getting nervous around blacks. This is true in many people and is a question of an individual's socialization. The angst is not exclusive of non-whites. Reminds me of one time I was going to either Nigeria or Angola for work. African-American sitting next to me on the plane. T'was his first time into sub-Sahara Africa, also going there for work. His first comment to me once we cleared the airport terminal was, "Oh my God, everybody out here is black! Can you walk me through this gauntlet?"

I guess Trayvon Martin could have been Obama, 35 years ago.

This is a video worth watching in regards to Obama's comments and race-baiting artists.

Not directed to you, or anyone else in particular, but I have tried and tried to tell people how bad this POTUS really is. In fact, I tried to tell people since before he was elected the first time. Whatever they say about him, like "he's a uniter", is just the opposite of who he really is and what he does. Its not because he is black, but because he is a radical leftist. So, I certainly do feel your pain on this one.
I disagree strongly and I voted for him both times. He's more white than Bush II, Bush dances better doesn't he?

The problem is that Obama has failed to deliver for anyone that voted for him. The lefties and the socialists feel absolutely let down by Obama. The banks made out well (conservative white establishment benefit) The unions degrade (conservative white establishment benefit) the rich and the ownership class are doing better than ever (conservative white establishment benefit) The war effort continues (conservative white establishment benefit). Even his 'gun policies have made the biggest heyday in firearms sales in the history of this country ((conservative white establishment benefit)

There has been continued erosion of our constitutional rights (we all will regret this one day including the (conservative white establishment that think they are benefiting).

Obama's race is more in doubt than his 'leftist agenda' because he's been anything but. He's a conservative white establishment capitalist tool.

any idiot of color could have been Barry or as he is now known the Emperor Obama and anyone of color could have been his son/daughter/wife, the guy is an idiot looking for trouble to cause and an abortion looking for a place to happen and the sad part is we have to deal with it. He will say and do anything to further his political agenda and make a portion of the population believe he is on their side when in reality he is on the side of one person himself. I am so tired of this guy if there was a legal way to remove him from here I would do it in a heartbeat with no remorse. Max, sorry your a misguided person The Emperor is worth very little he isn't white he isn't black he is communist and that goes against all I have fought against for over 30 years

That's the most absurd thing I've seen on the Internet in a long time. You can't possibly be serious.

The country has been going to the dogs because of this fool and his cronies and their antics, since the day he swore the oath. He has help, the Communists in Congress, to emaciate the economy, erode Constitutional rights and liberties, ignore the Constitution entirely with his "recess" appointments when he can't convince a Communist controlled Senate to confirm them. Socialism's Theme Park, fka Detroit, filed bankruptcy the other day, probably long overdue, after he claimed to have "saved" it. We'll be lucky to get out of this mess with even a shred of traditional American ideals still in place after this Communist gets done.

The banks are mere front men for the government which controls every aspect of their operations. Banking is one of the heaviest regulated activities there is. Unions are corrupt and everybody knows it, so nobody wants to be a member and nobody would except it's compulsory. Communists, collectivists, want to be union members, and live in ignorance and fear. Firearms sales skyrocketed mostly because of the better get it now before the ban threat that has wafted over the country.

Maybe the reason conservative white establishment benefits is because that is the most efficient, prosperous, free way to live, and anyone who follows that way, abides by its principles, follows its "invisible hand" has the chance to benefit as well, instead of a guarantee of oppression, ignorance, superstition and misery. It would be even more spectacular if the government would get its foot off the throats of free, private enterprise. Over regulation and taxation, so government can shovel bread and circuses to bribe the losers, the supporters of collectivism, is killing the gooses that laid golden eggs for decades.

I thought this was the land of thee free, where nobody can make you do anything, except pay for health insurance, of course??
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Obama is just as white as Zimmerman (both 50% - in the general sense we can possibly know without study of their ancestry or DNA)

Which begs the question, why couldn't Obama have been Zimmerman 35 years ago?

When did Incas, Iroquois and Inuit become White?

I might go along with an argument of Asian ancestry based on the ice bridge theory but European seems like a big stretch even considering the Viking tales.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.
