Yup. that is why I never carried them. I have been in pursuits where the suspects try to run over the officer deploying the spike strip.

Scary. Really scary. I wonder how bad the officer was hurt? Hopefully they caught the driver....

I had a hard time watching that, it broke his leg for sure, he was lucky to not have been killed.

Tragic..that's why they've been training to use cover to deploy spikes for years. Don't be this guy. That string is way longer than needed for you to hide behind a car/concrete post.
