NSA surveillance van out front. Sophisticated listening devices can detect that change in broadcast frequency emitted by various browsers...thus...I've been command line only for quite some time.

Also - surprised the linuxnerds haven't jumped in yet.

I'm just going to leave this here since various browsers have been mentioned.

It's neither magic nor rocket science. :)

When you put a picture in a message, you are actually putting a link to a website where the picture lives. In this case, that website handles the request for the picture by building a picture on the fly using the information that your browser sends along with every request. This is a slight oversimplification of what happens, but not by much.

I think we should all email the Constitution to our friends or each other so we will know the government goons have read it.

I must admit, based on the thread title TAM put up, I was expecting more nefarious behavior by the government that led to another scandal....

Ha! Your pathetic drone intelligence is wrong! I'm not near that city, I'm in that city! HAHAHAHAhaha... Wait...

Seriously, though, I've had IP-based Geolocation be completely wrong before on my laptop and cellphone (it thought I was in Australia instead of TX). My desktop seems to get it right most of the time, though. Actually, most of the time, they're all right, it's just that when the mobile ones are wrong, they're colossally wrong.
