Back in the early 90's I spent a lot of time visiting HQ in Palo Alto. My preferred hotel was a few blocks away from the El Camino Real Hobee's... We at breakfast there most days, and the coffee cake was like having dessert after breakfast. Sometimes a piece even made it to the office for a mid-morning snack.

I liked California. loved the diversity of people and food and loved the fact that we could be at the ocean in a matter of a couple of hours, but it just started getting too weird and we had a baby and needed to figure out what to do about school and, and, and, and....
