wrong tool for the job could have went BAD

Post by 1s1k52 »

So my sister in law and her husband were at our house the other day and told me a pretty funny story. He is a big time hunter and she was not raised around guns AT ALL. Over the phone she called him to ask him for a hammer. He stated he didnt know where it was at with the move. After arriving home and seeing things had been hung on the wall he asked what did she use. She said the plastic thing with metal on the end, you know the RED one. For the life of him he could not figure out what she meant finally she showed him the SHOTGUN shell she used primer end first to use as a hammer. "rlol"

Obviously this could have been very bad and tragic but, considering nothing happened I found this very funny to say the least.

You know my wife has used a screwdriver for a hammer, a butter knife for a screwdriver, a serrated knife for a saw, a heal of a shoe for a hammer, string for a tape measure, but NEVER a bullet or shell as any kinda tool.but based on this story I better give specific clear instructions, just in case, although I think she would never do that, but I better make sure

Both stories are funny!

I've gone through 2 brooms this summer... Killing spiders. ;-)
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

Just FYI - a .308 softpoint makes a fairly serviceable pencil when you are stuck at the bank drive thru - and your pen quits.
The bank teller will look at you a bit funny though...
A true lead pencil?
