Why would any parent want (correction) permit their kids to go to this “college”? :headscratch

Edited to add- They would probably be better off enlisting and taking advantage of schools and training the military offers, not to mention learning self reliance, responsibility and the other things they teach.

UNT has a free speech square. You have to a make reservation and be approved to use it.

That was my initial reaction too. I don't go there, but my girlfriend does. She has to walk by it on her way to class. I've seen it once. It's a little box about 2 square feet that you have to stand in.

That's nice, but apparently the majority of the students didn't get the memo. I have had a few friends go to UNT since 2009. They have all told me that during their time there, people were still using the squares, and still had to get approval. Maybe they reversed their decision.
