Andrea major surgery this afternoon

Andrea major surgery this afternoon

My kid brother and his wife just got the call and are headed to Houston now for her lung transplant surgery. She has a degenerative disease that is otherwise terminal unless she has a successful replacement. Just getting to this point has been a long, uphill battle for them. Please pray for successful surgery and recovery. Andrea is not yet forty, and loving wife and mother, with a lot to live for. Thanks.

Prayers for Andrea, the doctors, and the whole family.

Lord guide the hands of the surgeon to restore Andrea to full health. We are remembering always not our will be done but Thy will be done. Deliver what strength and counsel to help the family through this trying time. In Jesus' name Amen.

My wife adds a heartfelt prayer for the donor's family.

I just met a young lady this past Sunday that had a double lung transplant due to CF. She is doing fantastic! Prayers for the same for your sister-in-law!

I'm so glad she has this opportunity. Yes, she has lots to live for. Prayers sent out!

We really appreciate it.

UPDATE: she got through the six hour surgery yesterday ok with no complications. Now recovering in ICU where she'll be for a week or more. Long hill to climb from here, but this is a significant milestone.
