It's not legal because the block letters are only about 1cm in length (needs to be 1 inch or greater). So I am not respecting the signage. But, still a bit disappointing how this sign basically says "No one in here is armed! Feel free to come shoot everyone!".

Silly 30.06 sign
So I guess I must have been a little too vocal to my co-workers about my love for guns (Even though I think I've been pretty vague...), because I saw this morning they stuck a 30.06 on the front door (image below).

Don't worry, it won't last long. It looks like it is held up by two pieces of scotch tape!

Don't ask, don't tell.

I find it funny/sad that so few folks see it that way.void.pointer wrote:"No one in here is armed! Feel free to come shoot everyone!".![]()
I'm still trying to get the superintendent of my local ISD to catch on. No luck so far.
I am not a lawyer. This is NOT legal advice.!

It's not just the superintendent, you'll also need to convince the school board which means strong support from the community. This is why almost all the ISDs that have approved carry are in rural areas.RoyGBiv wrote:I find it funny/sad that so few folks see it that way.void.pointer wrote:"No one in here is armed!
