Marlin Owners Gun forum tagged as malware
The Marlinowners forum I access is blocked and a warning page comes up when I try to access the website even though there is no real threat. Info say it was reported 4 times as having some intrusive capacity, though the scans and the actual report couldn't find any. Google, Mozzila and more have warnings when you access the Marlin site. I'm no web or computer expert, but I assume this could be method to hurt gun websites either from malcontents or anti-gun zealots.

I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

I wouldn't take it personally or as an action of an anti-gun faction. Chances are, they just had software running that site that was open to intrusion.

What ever it was got fixed. The Google report stated that in the last 90 days there were almost 400 checks and no malware or any other threats was detected. Just 4 "reports". Other search engines were doing the same thing to folks.cb1000rider wrote:I wouldn't take it personally or as an action of an anti-gun faction. A site can also be flagged as a result of other sites hosted on a shared server. I once had a site flagged by WebSense as porn because I used a shared hosting plan, meaning my provided hosted multiple domains on a single server. Because my site shared an IP address with a porn site, it was flagged.
