I couldn't tell where he was hit but I didn't see much blood on the ground.

You can also bleed to death internally.

Yep. Nearly happened to my family's old dog.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

It didn't look like they were in any hurry to get him medical assistance. Also didn't seem too worried about the victim getting close to the suspect either. Looks like at one point the victim reaches down and takes something out of the suspects pocket.

That was the suspect ID/Wallet.

You would think one of the officers would be extracting the wallet instead of the victim.

Looked like one of the plain clothes, not the victim. The victim was wearing a long sleeve jacket.

Notice how loosely they manage a crime scene. People wandering around, the suspect not being secured even though he had been shot, no pictures being taken before they move the motorcycle and traffic continuing on right past the shot suspect laying on the ground. Something like that goes down around here and the traffic would be stopped in both directions for a long time regardless how far it backed up. When there is a fatality, traffic can be stopped for a couple hours or more. Interesting how different things are handled.
