Jackalope!

Post by Tass »

Need to acquire one for a Christmas present. Due to being hunted almost to extinction, finding one in the wild has been a dead end. Jackalope breeders will not have any available until Spring, I am told. "rlol"

Any suggestions/hints for a DIY? Was thinking about a taxidermy form and going all decoupage on it rather than the tired old faux rabbit from Hobby Lobby.

My children have a stuffed animal jackalope -- I think it came from a museum gift store (it was a gift from a friend who works at a museum) but I see there are a few different ones on Amazon.

Not much help with the taxidermy route, but just in case you want a back-up option. :)

That's only for bow season. I wish they'd extend it to the 31st so I could use my gun.
