Here is an interesting article that I ran across on Facebook that was posted by one of my high school classmates. She has worked for the TX DPS for some 28-30 years. I just thought it to be a good read since the subject has been lightly discussed in various threads here on the forum.
I figured it just might shed some light on the topic.
