Every gun owner's nightmare

Deputies enter the wrong house. It ended well but could have gone very badly.

Not sure about the site you linked to, there were some offensive images that popped up.

As far as the article, good thing he wasn't armed!
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

But the first thing Carter said was, “Please don’t shoot my dog.”

I was going to do exactly what you just did but I know one of our members really gets upset whenever someone mentions cops shooting dogs.

I apologize. I only read the article. I had to scroll down to see what you were referring to.

I can think of worse nightmare's for a gun owner. For example, a spouse discovering the exact number of guns you own.

I live under tyranny by spouse she knows everything and holds the purse strings. My last large purchase cost me a very large burberry purse. :thumbs2:

So the next time you want to purchase a firearm, tell your wife you've been thinking of getting her a gift of equal value. Then go buy the gun and the gift. Problem solved. :biggrinjester:

Indiana passed a law that affords you a criminal defense in the event you shoot and kill a LEO while unlawfully entering your house.

I think this story goes hand in hand.

Aside note. Since I've moved down here(8 1/2 months ago) some Texans think I'm a liberal Yankee because they know little about Indiana. hah.

Some of us have a weapon close by and some of us even carry around the house. This could be real bad in some situations. It is my worse nightmare. My door comes crashing in, I don't think cops. I think "bad guy" and start blasting. :fire Then they shoot me down?
