Women robbed at Walmart - Round Rock

I noted she was there at 0230, but when you work nights you shop around the clock. This is a good reminder that the hoodrats will be out in full force this weekend robbing people and breaking into cars during Black Friday. Watch your six and don't leave anything in your car while shopping!

Round Rock police are searching for two men who robbed a woman at a Wal-Mart early this morning and another woman in a nearby neighborhood. Neither of the women were injured, said Becky Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for the Round Rock Police Department.

That is a very long thread - you have to go to about post 12 to find out handog was arrested by several cops pointing guns for unlawful carry by a license holder and the DA declined to prosecute because there was no evidence of intentionally, recklessly, or knowingly failing to conceal his handgun, a point which the police apparently ignored. You have to go about 100? 150? posts into the thread to find out it was the Round Rock police.

I think it was a different store. I didn't realize how many WalMarts there are in that area.

Negative. He was murdered just south of there at the Wal Mart on IH 35 in the City of Austin. This Walmart is near the IH35/45

I read on another news channel that the suspects got a whole $1 in this robbery.. If they are caught, they did this robbery in Williamson County. They will be toast

That's correct. And the evidence of "intentionally" failing to conceal was provided by RR PD directly via writing down specifically that Handog did it intentionally. There was no evidence or other indication that it was actually intentional, but RR PD indicated that (written) during the arrest. More than one officer was present - as is typical on a MWG call.

Sorry, officers writing down things that didn't happen... More than one officer being involved in the arrest.. That's all the indication that I need on departmental policy. I won't carry in RR.

That's why you should carry there. The civil rights movement was successful because too many people revolted against injustice for all of them to be arrested. I would carry, take video, and upload to youtube and the cloud to avoid cops deleting the vid later. Then, sue.

Talk to Handog about what his attorney said in terms of following it up with a civil lawsuit. It might be different if you could show that they know better.

I believe that people have the rights to carry long guns in public. It doesn't mean that I'm going to go asking for trouble by walking around the neighborhood.

And I do video when I know trouble might be coming... Most cases I don't know when it's coming.

If everyone though like you in the 1960s, jim crow laws would still be enforced and on the books.

That's the same concept as going up against your HOA in court. You've got your resources, which may be significant, but the HOA has your resources and the resources of all your neighbors.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that the city of RR has a bigger legal fund than I can come up with. And they're backed by the tax payers in RR.

I appreciate people who can stand up and fight legally on principle.. I really, really do... But to me, I think about putting my kids through college and retirement. I suppose I'm too self-interested to take on a fight if my attorney says that I'm going to lose.
