It's tough and Murphy's loss leaves a hole in your heart.
Now, go rescue another dog. Your life and theirs will be better .
Happy Trails! Nick
It's tough to be sure, but I know time heals and what remains are memories of the good times without the pain of loss.

I don't think I want another dog, at least not right now.

Jaguar,

I completely understand your not wanting another dog. It's too soon to even consider such a thing.

A few years ago, we lost a very beloved critter and I vowed the pain of his loss was so great I wouldn't be able to handle such pain again. So, no more animals for me.

A few months elapsed. I didn't feel any better. I still grieved immensely.

Then, I decided maybe it was time for another critter. We rescued one and that very day my grief lifted completely.

Ab,

I understand, and maybe that will come to pass.

Thank you.

So sorry for your loss. They do become more than pets. I cannot imagine finding one of mine hit by a car. It is bad enough when I have to have one put down. RIP Murphy

That sure is terrible. I really mean it when I say that dogs are pals.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember you saying you would defend his little Puggy life if necessary. I feel for you, I have 2 pugs, snoring next to me. I feel for you!

Murphy had a great life, you made sure of that. Hang in there.
