Buffalo Wild Wings on Lemmon in Dallas

Post by Texas1999 »

I laughed at this "sign" (which was barely visibly on the bottom of the door) and walked right in with
my G22 strapped to my hip (no 30.06 sign, no 51% sign).

Hey...I had to watch the Cowboys win!

we can find better venues to watch Dallas loose than buffalo wild wings, most of us understand that they don't want our money so we just don't go there. sorry you had to just do it

We've got the 51% posted at the BWW here in Odessa and noticed the same in lubbock.

Like I said...no proper 30.06 sign, no 51% sign..nothing. I felt fine with my loaded Glock 22 on my hip.

it is highly unlikely that those locations are really 51%.
I was going to check here; http://www.tabc.state.tx.us/PublicInquiry/Status.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but its offline till 0600.
You can check for yourself and if you find it is improperly posted, notify TABC for it to be 'corrected'

I tell my wife that these are "Texas gun signs." The sheeple feel safe. The CHLers feel safe. Life is good.

looks like a corporate sign and it would be restrictive in some states that don't specify the method of notification. the BWW lawyers didn't do their homework on Texas.

The Lubbock BWW nearest my house is posted 51%, but the alcohol license says "Gun sign: Blue", confirmed by the TABC site last time I checked.
The sooner I get behind, the more time I have to catch up.

Their attitude and food quality keep me from going there.

BWW is known not to be gun friendly all over the US. In VA they asked a group of detectives, wearing their guns and badges, to leave due to their "no guns" policy. The officers complied. They have the right to ask, just as we have the right to eat elsewhere.

What a bunch of fools must own BWW. I will not be going there again. And MadMonkey is right - their "food quality" sucks.

I agree. The only reason we used to go there was the boys liked playing the interactive games but they have outgrown that I believe.

Went into BWW a week and a half ago just north of The Woodlands since I'd promised kids wings. No sign or any other marking of gun ban, legal or not. I'd not planned to go based on recent no guns postings but kids and I had a good time.
